Best way to keep your coffee fresh

For keeping your coffee grounds dry, say no to moisture. Avoid the refrigerator or a shelf above your stove. Store your coffee in a cool, dark, dry place such as a cupboard. Heat and light can damage your coffee grounds. Keep it in an opaque airtight container made of ceramic or metal that not transfer any flavors or odors to your precious coffee.

Although it is not a good idea to store coffee in the refrigerator you can freeze it for long-term storage! Just freeze small portions of coffee beans in airtight bags for up to a month. When you are ready to grind them put the frozen beans on a shelf to thaw and grind and brew within two weeks. Make sure to not store coffee in the freezer for daily use. By taking your coffee in and out of the freezer every day, the changes in temperature leave the coffee flavorless.

The key to freshness is... use an OPAQUE AIRTIGHT CONTAINER in a COOL, DRY place!
